Islam In St. Albans strongly urges and encourages all to support initiatives such as this, sacrifices have been made in many a form for those of who are less fortunate than that of ourselves whom wait on our call eagerly...

It is incumbent on us all to help in any way possible, whether it be donations, ordering, advertising the campaign or supplying ingredients please make contact as appropriate may Allah (SWT) accept and give barakah in this initiative and reward all those who take part in this cause.

We will all BUY today, tomorrow or the next day looking at value for money...

So why not BUY, knowing your making a difference to peoples lives.

Then ask that of yourself the value of saving a life, that day when all stand before him alone to be questioned ...

A pound spent in this world is worthless. But, for a worthy cause that same pound in the hereafter is priceless ...

Have mercy on those whom seek our help, think of them and help this cause.

Come that day, when all stand before him alone. A day when all will look around seeking help, may he look upon us with his infinite mercy in our most desperate time of need...

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) also said,

"Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the grief’s of the Day of Judgment. Whosoever alleviates [the lot of] a needy person, Allah will alleviate [his lot] in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a servant [of His] so long as the servant aids his brother.” [Muslim]

In support of this Sisters’ family led initiative. “Ummah Foods”

A local community based voluntary setup established solely, to assist/help our distressed Ummah. To ease the hardships & severe unbearable conditions that are faced by the people of Syria.

Established December 2013, “Ummah Foods” primary aim to act upon the compassion, mercy & teachings of selflessness taught by our Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Ensuring to help alleviate the poverty & suffering of those less fortunate individuals of our Ummah.

To this date, “Ummah Foods” by the Grace of Allah (SWT) has raised whilst committed to a 100% donations policy funds of £1,755.20 donated in this instance to be taken to Syria as part of the “Luton 2 Syria Convoy Team” our sincere thanks to the community for their generous efforts to date ...

Insha’Allah following on from this achievement the next mission is to raise much needed funds, with a target goal of £5,000.00 in the next 2 months for Ummah Welfare Trust – Emergency Syria Appeal.

By feeding our own needs and desires. Insha’Allah we will be able to support the needs of the Noble Widows and Orphans of this Ummah.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) also said,

The believers, in their love, mutual kindness, and close ties, are like one body; when any part complains, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.” [Muslim], “The faithful are like one man: if his eyes suffer, his whole body suffers.” [Muslim]
